My persona ended up being based on rubber and plastic ducks that can be found around Royal Cruise Ships. So, I thought, why not bring that to land? I wanted to focus my project and website on hiding ducks because, for me, it has always been a simple joy and sense of connection that this activity creates. It’s amazing how a small gesture like finding a hidden duck can brighten someone’s day, offering a moment of surprise and delight. My goal was to spread positivity and encourage exploration. I saw an opportunity to extend this playful tradition beyond cruise ships and into everyday spaces, like college campuses, to give a sense of community and create a shared experience that brings people together in a fun and unexpected way. School is always stressful, no matter who you are or your major, but this small idea was able to bring a bunch of people joy, which is what I was trying to do.
