J&P Construction LLC

J&P Construction is a business started by my father, John P. Williams, that offers excavation, stormwater management, concrete/masonry work, storm clean-up, sewer and water, new homes, and addition footers, walls, and slabs. I was tasked with designing a logo that paid tribute to the whole reason John Williams started his business: for his kids.

There was no specification on the typeface or color palette, to include his kids in some way, shape, or form while also demonstrating what the business does as a whole. This was a challenge since I had never done a logo design with human figures, but it excited me because I could try out some different styles. The main color palette just consisted of a few black-and-white variations of the logo design, but I also included a color variation to further the concept.
